About Me
Iām Katey, a dedicated and passionate pediatric occupational therapist, holding a BA degree in Psychology from Monmouth University and a MS in Occupational Therapy from Lenoir-Rhyne University. My professional journey is enriched by extensive experience in diverse educational and caregiving roles, including respite care, personalized support/assistance for children with disabilities, completing a few years as a certified teacher assistant in NY state, and of course pediatric OT.
With a deep-seated commitment to empathy and building trustful, respectful connections with parents, I specialize in addressing the unique needs of children with delays or challenges with age-appropriate skills. My practice is anchored in a client and family-centered approach, ensuring that each child's path to independence and success is nurtured in a supportive, understanding environment.
